The requirements for particularly high-quality flat roof waterproofing are extreme. It is subject to strong temperature fluctuations, must withstand intensive UV radiation, must not be impaired in its function by high wind forces and movements of the building structure and its flexibility must not change even after many years. Plastic roofing membranes made of EVA meet these requirements without restriction, as this raw material is flexible and therefore requires no additional plasticizers.

Compared to roofing membranes made of monomeric plasticized, hard thermoplastic material, whose plasticizer content and thus also flexibility decreases over the years, roofing membranes made of EVA such as VAEPLAN® offer decisive advantages, which are expressed in a very long service life and thus guarantee many years of safety as robust and breathable roofing membranes.
